The Art of Time

Time is a special phenomenon where much thought has been given and written through the conscious of mankind, friend or foo, illusion or reality, chronos or logos. It goes as I write this but my experience whispers something else, and here we are right up to the heart of the matter. There are two experiences, a devised time and one of being, a time for the arrangement of our lives and one that transcends everything and is much older. The play of this curious duality is also reflected in music, you experience it at a concert, it is an arrangement of notes placed in the right time which, when hit, makes you forget time and takes you to something where time doesn’t seem to exist and then all of a sudden it’s over, and you have to pick up your coat in the voyeur, and it’s time to go home because maybe you have to get up early.                                                              The time of the clock chases you, while in the other one we become happy with the experience and blossom. You rarely experience the time of your life when you have to keep an eye on the clock for how long a second can not last.                      Time experience plays on the new album of The Greenman, The art of time, a crucial role. Not only is the composition of the Band a game of the time to mention but also the music and themes reflect in compact songs to times of emerging guitar music to what now get our ears. From compressed time to the apparent eternal being and the inability to maintain this.

Listen and experience it.
